Tennoji, Kuze and Hinomaru reach the semi-finals where Hinomaru's team face Tennoji's. Shinya faces Enoki who has admired Tennoji for years and is desperate for Tennoji to have a rematch against Kuze. Shinya is larger whereas Enoki has trained in Aikido. Despite putting up a good fight Shinya is thrown and defeated. Kei faces Shutou Masaomi. Kei worries that his use of tricks and feints mean Hinomaru won't respect him, until Hinomaru assures him it is a perfectly respectable style...
